Every Journey Finds Its Final Frame! Vision Cinema House’s ‘Haiku’ Wraps Up Shooting*
Like the quiet rhythm of its title, Haiku has completed a remarkable journey: one frame, one location, and one memory at a time. Spanning over 90 call sheets across four schedules, the film has now successfully wrapped up shooting, marking the beginning of its next creative chapter.
Produced by Dr. D. Arulanandhu and Mathewo Arulanandhu under the banner of Vision Cinema House, Haikucommenced its journey in February this year, amidst the serene landscapes of Erumely, Kerala. From the lush greenery of Kerala to the vibrant landscapes of Coimbatore and Chennai, Haiku travelled through diverse terrains, each becoming an integral part of its storytelling. The production featured three elaborate set pieces while also filming across several prominent Chennai landmarks, including Spencer Plaza, Anna Salai (Mount Road), Aachi House, Perungudi, and Adyar Bridge. The final schedule concluded along the shores of ECR Kovalam Beach, Chennai, where the team officially called it a wrap, bringing months of dedication, collaboration, and countless memories to a fulfilling close.
Director Yuvaraj Chinnasamy says, ”Completing the shoot of ‘Haiku’ is a very emotional and satisfying moment for all of us. I sincerely thank our producers, Dr. D. Written and directed by Yuvaraj Chinnasamy, Haiku features additional screenplay by Hari Haran Ram. The film brings together an accomplished technical team comprising Priyesh Guruswamy (Cinematography), Sakthi Pranesh(Editing), Siddhu Kumar (Music), and Prem (Art Direction).
The film features an ensemble cast led by Aegan, alongside Sridevi, Femina George, Adrichi Arun, Mime Gopi, Indhumathi (Meiyazhagan fame), Jenson (Lubber Bandhu fame), Ismatha Banu (Sirai fame), ‘Doctor’ Shiva, and several other notable performers.
Even before the completion of shooting, Haiku had achieved a significant milestone by securing its post-theatrical digital streaming rights with Netflix. At a time when digital acquisitions have become increasingly selective, the film’s early OTT deal stands as a strong vote of confidence in its storytelling. Acquired for a premium price, the film’s universal theme and emotional appeal are expected to resonate with audiences beyond linguistic and regional boundaries.
With shooting now wrapped up, Vision Cinema House quietly turns the page to its next chapter. As Haiku enters post-production, the banner moves one step closer to presenting a film shaped by passion, perseverance, and the belief that meaningful stories can travel far beyond boundaries.

படத்தின் தலைப்பைப் போலவே ஆர்ப்பாட்டமில்லாமல் அமைதியாக பயணித்த ‘ஹைக்கூ’ திரைப்படத்தின் படப்பிடிப்பை வெற்றிகரமாக நிறைவடைந்துள்ளது. 90 நாட்களுக்கும் மேற்பட்ட கால்ஷீட், நான்கு கட்டமாக நடந்த படப்பிடிப்பு, எண்ணற்ற நினைவுகள் என நீண்ட பயணத்திற்குப் பிறகு, படம் தற்போது போஸ்ட் புரொடக்ஷன் பணிகளுக்குள் நுழைந்துள்ளது.
விஷன் சினிமா ஹவுஸ் பேனரின் கீழ் டாக்டர் டி. அருளானந்து மற்றும் மேத்யூ அருளானந்து ஆகியோர் தயாரித்த ‘ஹைக்கூ’ திரைப்படத்தின் படப்பிடிப்பு, இந்த ஆண்டு பிப்ரவரி மாதம் கேரளாவின் எருமேலி பகுதியில் தொடங்கியது. கேரளாவின் பசுமையான பகுதிகள்,கோயம்புத்தூர் மற்றும் சென்னை உள்ளிட்ட பகுதிகளில் படமாக்கப்பட்டது. இப்படத்தில் மூன்று பிரம்மாண்டமான அரங்குகள் அமைக்கப்பட்டதோடு, ஸ்பென்சர் பிளாசா, அண்ணா சாலை (மவுண்ட் ரோடு), ஆச்சி ஹவுஸ், பெருங்குடி மற்றும் அடையார் பாலம் உள்ளிட்ட சென்னையின் பல முக்கிய இடங்களிலும் படப்பிடிப்பு நடைபெற்றது. இறுதிக்கட்டப் படப்பிடிப்பு சென்னையின் ஈசிஆர் கோவளம் கடற்கரைப் பகுதியில் நிறைவடைந்தது.

தயாரிப்பாளர்கள் டாக்டர் டி. அருளானந்து மற்றும் மேத்யூ அருளானந்து பகிர்ந்து கொண்டதாவது, “‘ஹைக்கூ’ திரைப்படம் முக்கியமான கட்டத்தை எட்டியிருப்பது எங்களுக்கு மிகுந்த மகிழ்ச்சியை அளிக்கிறது. ஆரம்பம் முதலே இயக்குநர் யுவராஜ் சின்னசாமி இந்தப் படத்தை மிகத் தெளிவான பார்வையுடனும் நேர்மையான அணுகுமுறையுடனும் உருவாக்கினார். அவர் மீது முழு நம்பிக்கை எங்களுக்கு இருந்தது. ஒவ்வொரு கட்ட படப்பிடிப்பிலும் தங்களது முழு அர்ப்பணிப்பை கொடுத்த இயக்குநர் மற்றும் படக்குழுவினருடன் இணைந்து பணியாற்றியது அருமையான அனுபவம். போஸ்ட் புரொடக்ஷன் பணிகள் முடிந்தவுடன் இதை ரசிகர்களிடம் கொண்டு செல்ல ஆவலுடன் இருக்கிறோம். தரமான படைப்பும், திட்டமிட்ட நேரத்தில் அதை நிறைவு செய்வதும்தான் தயாரிப்பாளருக்கு உண்மையான மகிழ்ச்சி. இதனை இயக்குநர் யுவராஜ் சின்னசாமி சரியாக செய்து முடித்தார். இயக்குநராக அவருக்கு எதிர்காலத்தில் இன்னும் பல சிறப்பான வெற்றிகள் காத்திருக்கின்றன என்பதில் எங்களுக்கு நம்பிக்கை உள்ளது” என்றனர்.
படப்பிடிப்பு நிறைவடைவதற்கு முன்பே ‘ஹைக்கூ’ திரைப்படம் ஒரு முக்கிய மைல்கல்லை எட்டியுள்ளது. அதன் திரையரங்கு வெளியீட்டிற்குப் பிந்தைய டிஜிட்டல் ஒளிபரப்பு உரிமையை நெட்ஃபிலிக்ஸ் நிறுவனம் பிரீமியம் தொகைக்கு கைப்பற்றியுள்ளது. தற்போது டிஜிட்டல் உரிமைகள் மிகவும் தேர்ந்தெடுக்கப்பட்ட படங்களுக்கு மட்டுமே வழங்கப்படும் சூழலில், படப்பிடிப்பு முடிவதற்கு முன்பே இந்த ஒப்பந்தம் கையெழுத்தாகியுள்ளது என்பது இப்படத்தின் கதை மீது வைக்கப்பட்டுள்ள மிகப்பெரிய நம்பிக்கையை வெளிப்படுத்துகிறது. அனைவரையும் இணைக்கும் பொதுவான இந்த கதை, மொழி மற்றும் பிராந்திய எல்லைகளைத் தாண்டி உலகம் முழுவதும் உள்ள ரசிகர்களை கவரும் என படக்குழு நம்பிக்கை தெரிவித்துள்ளது.
