The launch of Magic Mag Movies Productions’ new crime thriller film Mounam!
In Tamil, films with open storylines under titles like Mauna Geethangal, Mauna Ragam, Mauna Pesiyathe, Mauna Sammatham, etc. have been released and have been successful.
In that regard, a new film is currently being produced under the name Maunam by Magic Mag Movies. The crime thriller film is being directed in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi. Mahesh Kumar B., a member of the Kannada film industry, will write the story, screenplay, and dialogues and will direct the film.
It is noteworthy that the Kannada film industry, which used to produce rich stories on a low budget, is now at the forefront by producing blockbuster films like KGF, Kanthara, Su from So, etc.
In that order, the director of the film, Mahesh, has directed films like B Dragon, Ooty, Minj Minjulu, and has won awards for his work in films like this, including Minjulu, which won the Karnataka
State Award.
The launch of this new film began today at Prasad Lab on the auspicious occasion of Vijayadashami. The shooting of the film will begin from October 20 and will continue for 60 days.
The shooting will take place in locations like Chennai, Bangalore and Hyderabad. The film will have four songs, two of which will be shot abroad.
The story of the film, Maunam, is about a software engineer hero who, during the Corona period, is looking for his ex-girlfriend.
He is at home, and when he wakes up, he is found murdered. How this murder happened and what is the background to it is going to be told as a horror and mystery story.
